Hi BlkIrish,
You and Deesha are always welcome but it may be a little less glam than we might imagine. I imagined exiting my penthouse flat and strutting down the Champs Ellysee wearing a Valentino suit and crocodile shoes asking some beret’ed garcon to bring me chocolate bread. In reality, I will be an hour out of the city, in a small apartment, paying $20 to do a load of clothes at the laundromat. Come over if you can, but leave the spoiled American ego at home. Bonjour!
Oui! My guitar and recorder will both be going along. Because I only have a limited amount of things that I can bring, it is difficult to decide. Some staples MUST come along: MP3 player, laptop, bible, and my flat iron (for my hair if you are not hip to hair appliances).
